How to Arm and Disarm Perimeter Mode Using the 5" Keypad

This guide explains how to arm only the perimeter protection zones while allowing movement within the protected area.

 Arming in Perimeter Mode

Step 1: Verify System Readiness

Confirm the keypad displays:

  • DISARMED
  • SYSTEM READY

Step 2: Select Arm Options

Press the shield icon.

Step 3: Select Perimeter

Choose PERIM from the available arming options.

Step 4: Enter Your User Code

Enter your assigned code.

Step 5: Verify Armed Status

The keypad will indicate that perimeter protection is active.

Disarming

Step 1: Access the Disarm Screen

Select the shield icon.

Step 2: Enter Your User Code

Enter your assigned code.

Step 3: Verify Disarmed Status

Confirm the keypad displays:

  • DISARMED
  • SYSTEM READY
